The Grudge

Glad to see the story began to unfold right from the beginning of the film and not like most that have you sitting through boring scenes for 30 minutes and really opening up the story towards the last 15 minutes.
Though not a single scene made me jump, it was not too predictable. Right from the start of the film, you are asking yourself questions, which is good, because you are hooked for the duration.
There is not much to say about the film. It is very well made and special effects are kept to a minimum. Could have done with seeing more of the horror, which was kept subtle and minimum for most part. Some nice scenes where 'ghosts' were unexpected, which i suspect would make you jump, but then i've yet to find a horror film that scares me or makes me jump.
