Kill Bill vol2
Saturday, 22 May 2004 ‡ 17:32
Don't expect vol.2 to continue from where vol.1 ended. As usual, there is the complete unordered story, which i actually do not mind at all, it adds interest. There is more of the typical Tarantino dialogue than vol.1 and as you'd expect, Black Mamba? continues on her vengeful killing spree.
In vol.2 more of the story unfolds and answers questions you may have had during or at the end of the vol.1, but at the same time the story does move forwards, strange since vol.2 concentrated more on Black Mamba's history. This is the reason, vol.2 was less action and more dialogue. I hate to say this but there were times were i was getting a little bored of Bill?. I think Tarantino should have concentrated less on Bill in the film. There were many great scenes and then there were one or two unbelievable scenes, i leave them for you to decide.
For the most, vol.2 was typically brilliant, but unfortunately i was disappointed with the ending. I can understand part of the reason, but i was really expecting a huge bloody battle or at least some action from the Hattori Hanzo.
